Remarks :

We discovered Cnemaspis pagai from a single site in South Pagai Island.

Etymology:
The specific epithet refers to the island in the Mentawai Archipelago of Western Sumatra Province that is inhabited by this species. The specific epithet is formed here as an invariable noun in apposition.
